Mid-Winter Break
Thu, February 11–12
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, each of the 2 days
Two mid-winter break days dedicated to game design. Ages 6–12 design custom worlds and game mechanics — logic circuits built inside the game, 3D spatial reasoning, and levels other people can play. Our five-year-olds build the same ideas in LEGO, by hand.
- They build
- A playable world with mechanics the group designed.
- They code
- In-game logic circuits — switches, doors and traps that react.
- They explore
- Spatial reasoning in three dimensions.
