A spooky engineering challenge for the state in-service day. Campers design, build and program motorised Halloween creatures — the kind that lurch, snap and light up when you walk past.

They build: A motorised mechanical creature with a moving jaw or limbs.
They code: Sensor triggers — it wakes up when something comes near.
They explore: Cams and linkages: turning a spin into a lurch.
