Not the way we teach it. Kids start by training simple image and gesture models they can see working immediately, then learn the Python behind them. Understanding how AI works — and where it fails — is becoming basic literacy, and kids pick it up faster than adults do.
Comfortable reading and basic typing is enough. Prior block coding helps but isn't required — the first weeks build every foundation needed.
